Mysterious Halloween Potion

Halloween is just around the corner, and if you want something festive that doesn’t require much preparation, this drink is a wonderfully simple option.

With only a few ingredients, you can create a bubbling elixir filled with mystery and fun.

For this magical potion, all you need is dark-colored soda, a gummy worm, and ice if desired.

Popular soda brands sometimes release special Halloween varieties. For our potion, we found a Halloween-edition black soda with an orange flavor.

If you can’t find one, don’t worry. You can use your favorite soda and add a few drops of black food coloring to create the same mysterious appearance.

Serve the potion in a clear plastic goblet and drape a gummy worm over the rim for the perfect creepy finishing touch.

Ingredients

• Dark-colored soda, such as cola, or your favorite soda
• Gummy worms
• Ice, optional
• Black food coloring, optional

Instructions

1. Fill a clear goblet or serving glass with ice, if desired.
2. Slowly pour the dark-colored soda over the ice.
3. If your soda is another color, add black food coloring one drop at a time until you achieve the desired shade.
4. Place a gummy worm over the rim of the glass, leaving part of it hanging outside.
5. Serve immediately while the drink is cold and bubbly.
