Frankenstein Marshmallow Pops: A Monstrously Fun Halloween Treat
If you’re planning a Halloween party, these Frankenstein Marshmallow Pops are a playful treat to add to the celebration.
These delicious little monsters are perfect for delighting guests at Halloween parties, sharing with friends during a movie night, or enjoying at home with the family.
They’re also incredibly easy to prepare. You’ll only need large marshmallows, green and black candy melts, and cake pop or lollipop sticks.
Decorating each Frankenstein face is where the real fun begins. You can give every monster its own hairstyle, expression, scars, and personality.
The designs don’t need to be perfect—monsters rarely have tidy hair!
Use black candy coating to draw the hair, eyes, stitched scars, mouth, and bolts along the sides of Frankenstein’s face. You can also use candy eyes or miniature chocolate chips instead of drawing the eyes.
For even more personality, decorate the pops with sprinkles, edible glitter, crushed Oreo cookies, or anything else that inspires you.

Ingredients
- Large marshmallows
- Green candy melts
- Black candy melts
- Cake pop or lollipop sticks
- Candy eyes or miniature chocolate chips, optional
- Sprinkles, edible glitter, or crushed Oreo cookies, optional
Instructions
- Melt the green candy melts in the microwave or using a double boiler, following the package instructions. You may also use white melting chocolate tinted with oil-based green food coloring.
- Dip one end of a cake pop stick into the melted green coating.
- Insert the coated end into the bottom of a large marshmallow.
- Repeat with the remaining marshmallows.
- Dip each marshmallow into the melted green coating, covering it completely.
- Allow the excess coating to drip off.
- Place the covered marshmallow pops upright in a cake pop stand or foam block.
- Let them dry completely. You can refrigerate them for a few minutes to help the coating set more quickly.
- Melt the black candy melts and transfer them to a piping bag fitted with a fine tip or to a small decorating bottle.
- Outline Frankenstein’s hair across the top of each marshmallow, then fill it in with the black coating.
- Draw a small scar and add several short lines across it to create Frankenstein’s characteristic stitches.
- Add candy eyes, miniature chocolate chips, or dots of black candy coating.
- Finish each face by drawing a mouth and adding one small bolt to each side.
- Add any other decorations or expressions you like.
- Allow the finished Frankenstein Marshmallow Pops to cool and harden completely.
